On day one, we'll expect you to...

• Have a deep understanding of how the “as-a-service” paradigm works
• Be familiar (ideally, intimately) with the technology landscape and its applications. Be aware of what “true value” is and what is not
• Be articulate about technology and its applications, and be an expert in using tools to convey that message
• Ability to understand a client’s business landscape and how upcoming technology can be applied to enhance its function
• Have discussions involving creating and executing a strategy with clients and partners
• Be savvy about operating and demonstrating technology
• Have the ability to design a roadmap for a client's or partner's business roadmap and align it with Neysa’s technology offerings
• Align business objectives, Neysa’s interests and the client’s/partners for a mutually beneficial relationship

The skill tree:

THINGS YOU MUST KNOW

• Expert-level understanding of the Office Suite
• Presentation skills, documentation skills, and organisation mapping skills. Understanding of technologies like virtualisation, cloud computing, networking, “hybrid” deployments, the internet and the private intranet and the ability to speak about them to senior customer/partner representatives
• Experience in sizing and software licensing
• Negotiating skills and the ability to talk about more than just price
• The prospecting, qualifying and alignment process

GREAT IF YOU KNOW

• Coding or hands-on implementation skills will be immensely helpful
• The ancillary vendor environment, viz. server OEMs, networking OEMs, service providers, etc.
• Pipelines and processes viz. CI/CD, SDLC etc. Concepts of availability, scalable infrastructure, etc.
• Service-mesh and concepts of micro-services
• IT infrastructure, specifically components that go into making a service
