Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Backend Developer proficient in Django, SQL, AWS, Java, PHP, and Node.js to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our backend development team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, and contribute to the success of Aurelion Future Forge.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Django, Node.js, Java, PHP, and other relevant technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Implement database solutions and optimize SQL queries for performance and reliability.
• Deploy and manage backend systems on AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and functionality of backend systems.
• Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the team.
• Proactively identify and address technical challenges and roadblocks.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in backend development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Django, SQL, AWS, Java, PHP, and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of backend development principles and best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Roles:

• Developing core infrastructure in Python, Django.
• Developing models and business logic (e. g. transactions, payments, diet plan, search, etc).
• Architecting servers and services that enable new product features.
• Building out newly enabled product features

• Minimum 4 years of industry or open-source experience.
• Proficient in at least one OO language: Python(preferred)/Golang/Java.
• Writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.
• Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
• Experience working with AWS components [EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, ECS, Lambda].

• Design, develop, test, debug and maintain components of a feature-rich management and orchestration product
• Manage one or more project priorities and deadlines
• The programming languages are mainly Python and Java
• Understand the infrastructure details of public clouds and use DevOps best practices to implement provisioning

You'll Need:

• Strong software design and implementation skills in building infrastructure frameworks.
• Experience building and operating extensible, scalable resilient systems.
• Working knowledge of Java and Python.
• Solid understanding of basic systems operations (disk, network, etc).
• Willingness and ability to learn new languages and concepts.
• 8+ years of experience and a BS/MS degree in Computer Science -or- a related field.

Nice to have:

• Cloud infrastructure systems engineering experience.
• Experience in building control planes.
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with containers and cluster managers like Kubernetes.
• Experience in App deployment and config management frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, etc.

We are looking for an experienced engineer with superb technical skills. You will primarily be responsible for architecting and building large scale data pipelines that delivers AI and Analytical solutions to our customers. The right candidate will enthusiastically take ownership in developing and managing a continuously improving, robust, scalable software solutions. The successful candidate will be curious, creative, ambitious, self motivated, flexible, and have a bias towards taking action. As part of the early engineering team, you will have a chance to make a measurable impact in future of Thinkdeeply as well as having a significant amount of responsibility.

Although your primary responsibilities will be around back-end work, we prize individuals who are willing to step in and contribute to other areas including automation, tooling, and management applications. Experience with or desire to learn Machine Learning a plus.

10+ years of industry experience in java related frameworks such as Spring and/or Typesafe

Experience with scripting languages. Python experience highly desirable. 5+ Industry experience in python

Experience with popular modern web frameworks such as Spring boot, Play framework, or Django

Demonstrated expertise of building and shipping cloud native applications

Experience in administering (including setting up, managing, monitoring) data processing pipelines (both streaming and batch) using frameworks such as Kafka, ELK Stack, Fluentd

Experience in API development using Swagger

Strong expertise with containerization technologies including kubernetes, docker-compose

Experience with cloud platform services such as AWS, Azure or GCP.

Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Familiarity with continuous integration, Jenkins

Responsibilities

Architect, Design and Implement Large scale data processing pipelines

Design and Implement APIs

Assist in dev ops operations

Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

Help maintain code quality, organization, and documentation

Communicate with stakeholders regarding various aspects of solution.

Mentor team members on best practices

• Exp- 3+ yrs
• Must be very good in Java- 2.5+ yrs
• At least 1 yr of working experience in any one DB of Neo4j, Cassandra, Elastic Search
• Should have good devops working knowledge - Knowledge of AWS, Ansibleetc is a necessity
• Experience in TDD/BDD is required
• Minimum 1 yr working experience in Samza& Kafka.
• Knowledge of Azure is added advantage
• Understanding of AKKA and Play framework
